Early 2019 Pen and Ink update

Since Scriptus I've added a couple pens to my collection.

In early Dec, I happened upon a gently used Pilot Custom 823 (in Amber with a fine nib) at a great price. This quickly because one of my favourites. This says a lot since I tend to rid myself of pens that I don't care for. The nib is wonderful, it feels good in the hand, and the vacuum filler is mechanically cool. Speaking of the filler, it holds ~2.5ml of ink! I've assigned it as my writing pen.

After trying a Lamy 2000 at Pen Club, I decided to get one as a self xmas/bday gift. It's a lovely pen, with a super smooth medium nib. I'm not sure it will be a favourite, but it will get heavy use. I put Skull & Roses in it and the effect with the M nib is as good as I could wish for.

As for ink, I picked up the set of 6 18ml bottles by TWSBI. I've been trying out the Prairie Green. It's on the pale side so I've put it in my Al-Star with a 1.1 stub. While the colour is pale but the shading is amazing.
